Completion of RCCE M&E System Training for One Health RCCE Team.

The National One Health Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) team, with technical and financial support from GOAL Sierra Leone, has successfully concluded a two-day training on the Digitalised RCCE Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) System and Tool.

The training sessions were held in Bombali District (30–31 March, Garden State, Makeni) and Bo District (1–2 April, Hennis Enterprise Hall), bringing together Data Assistants, One Health RCCE actors, and National RCCE Officers. The objective was to strengthen participants’ capacity to effectively utilise the digitalised M&E system for improved data collection, reporting, and decision-making.

Facilitated by experts from the NPHA M&E and ICT teams, DPPI, GOAL Sierra Leone, and the Health Promotion/RCCE team, the sessions combined technical presentations with practical, hands-on exercises. These engagements enabled participants to better understand system functionalities, troubleshoot challenges, and build confidence in the use of the tool.

The high level of commitment and active participation demonstrated by all attendees represents a significant milestone towards ensuring timely, accurate reporting and strengthened data management for One Health RCCE interventions across Sierra Leone.
