Minister Sannoh Donates Rice and Cash to Junior Staff Ahead of Eid-ul-Adha.

In a show of appreciation and solidarity, the Minister of Youth Affairs, Hon. Ibrahim Sannoh, has extended a generous Eid-ul-Adha gesture to junior staff of the Ministry by donating 46 bags of rice and a cash sum of Le250 to each recipient.

The donation, which was made on behalf of the Deputy Minister Patrick Gbrilla and other senior leadership of the Ministry, underscores the Ministry’s commitment to staff welfare and unity during times of cultural and spiritual importance.

Speaking during the presentation, Minister Sannoh emphasized the importance of nurturing a family spirit within the workplace.

“We are not just here as workers—we are a family,” he said. “Acts like these help us stay connected and uplifted, especially during moments of reflection and gratitude such as Eid.”

The gesture was warmly welcomed by the junior staff, who expressed sincere thanks for what many described as both timely and thoughtful support. One recipient noted, “This shows that our leaders care about us—not just as employees, but as people.”

The Ministry of Youth Affairs continues to prioritize inclusive leadership and staff empowerment. The Eid donation initiative serves as a reflection of that ethos, promoting a culture of respect and shared celebration.

As Sierra Leoneans prepare to mark Eid-ul-Adha, the Minister’s act of kindness stands as a testament to compassionate governance and community spirit within the public sector.
