SLENA Managing Director, Madam Lolo Yeama Thompson-Oguamah, paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development. The visit aimed to enhance collaboration between SLENA's correspondent and the Ministry, aligning with international best practices to amplify development impact reporting.
During her meeting with Ministry officials, Madam Thompson-Oguamah evaluated the performance of SLENA's correspondent and emphasized the agency's focus on human-interest stories showcasing development's impact on ordinary citizens. She also encouraged correspondents to produce high-quality stories with engaging videos.
Mr. Alfred Kabia, Public Relations Officer, MoPED centered discussions on challenges facing the Ministry's communication unit, including logistics constraints hindering news production.
