SLPP France Chapter Holds First-Ever Elections, Announces New Executives.

The Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) France Chapter successfully held its first-ever elections on March 1, 2025, at La Maison Des Femmes, located at 215 Terrasse de l'Arche, 92100 Nanterre. The election process was conducted with transparency, fairness, and strict compliance with the directives of the National Election Commission (NEC), marking a significant milestone for the chapter.

Madam Jamiatu Boima Charley, an observer from the SLPP Holland Chapter, was present to oversee the election. Chapter members actively participated in the event, casting their votes for leaders they believe will take the SLPP to new heights.

The newly elected executives are:

Sorie Umaru – Chairman

Jariatu Jalloh – Women Leader

E. Lucinda A. Bancel – Young Generation Leader

Octavious O. Varney – Secretary General

Morris Saidu – Financial Secretary

Alhassan Sarr – Treasurer

Umaru Sall – Organizing Secretary

Alhassan Kamera – Public Relations Officer

Hajah Fatimata Jabbie – Coordinator

This marks the beginning of a new SLPP France Chapter, with members expressing confidence in the newly elected leaders. The officials have pledged to work tirelessly to ensure the party's success and growth, representing the values and aspirations of their fellow members and the broader Sierra Leonean community in France.
