Africell and Afrimoney CEOs Visit Bo and Kenema, Reinforce Commitment to Service Excellence and Digital Inclusion.

Africell Sierra Leone has reaffirmed its commitment to delivering exceptional telecommunications and mobile financial services to the people of southern and eastern Sierra Leone following a high-level visit by its senior leadership to Bo and Kenema.
Speaking during an interview on the tour, the Chief Executive Officer of Africell Sierra Leone, Mr. Shadi Gerjawi, underscored the company’s longstanding and special relationship with the people of the southern region. He emphasized that Africell remains dedicated to providing the best possible service delivery to residents of Bo, Kenema, and the country at large.
Mr. Gerjawi explained that the visit was a deliberate effort by the leadership team to directly engage with staff and customers in the region.
“Our goal is to listen, understand, and react to the feedback from our people,” he said. “We want to ensure that our customers and staff enjoy better conditions and improved services.”
He encouraged customers to continue engaging with Africell staff, stressing that concerns and suggestions from the public remain vital to the company’s growth.
“Africell values the people of the southern region deeply. That is why I always make it a point to come personally and ensure that their concerns are addressed,” he added.
Meanwhile, the CEO of Afrimoney, Mr. Martison Obeng-Agyei, highlighted the company’s mission to expand digital financial inclusion across Sierra Leone regardless of geographic location. He noted that Afrimoney continues to make significant strides in easing transactions nationwide, citing the simplified and convenient process now available for Njala University students to pay their fees via Afrimoney.
Mr. Obeng-Agyei further stated that the visit to Bo and Kenema was intended to strengthen direct interaction with customers and agents, ensuring services remain accessible and responsive. He also revealed an ongoing Afrimoney promotion that offers agents the opportunity to win millions of Leones simply by performing regular Afrimoney transactions.
The joint tour by the CEOs of Africell and Afrimoney signals the company’s continued investment in regional engagement and service expansion demonstrating a firm commitment to connecting communities, empowering customers, and supporting economic growth across Sierra Leone.
