The Governance Commission of Liberia has invited a high-level Sierra Leonean delegation for a Study Tour and Peer Learning Visit in Monrovia, scheduled from September 27 to October 1, 2025.
The mission, facilitated through the Ministry of Public Administration and Political Affairs, the Public Sector Reform Unit (PSRU), and the Public Service Commission (PSC) is part of ongoing Mano River Union collaboration to strengthen governance and public administration reforms.
Leading the delegation are Minister Amara Kallon, Chairman of the Public Service Commission Mr. Kalilu O. Bah, and PSRU Director Mr. Sulaiman Phoray Musa. During the visit, the team will exchange experiences on reform initiatives, identify best practices adaptable to Sierra Leone’s context, and reinforce bilateral cooperation on institutional development.
In line with Pillar 5 of Sierra Leone’s National Development Plan, the engagement seeks to revamp public service systems to improve accountability, professionalism, and service delivery.
The delegation is also scheduled to pay a courtesy call on His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., President of Liberia, on September 29, 2025.
This initiative is expected to foster stronger institutional ties and advance good governance across the Mano River Union.
