Sierra Leone Showcases Culture at 1st Nimba Reggae Festival in Guinea.

The Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, alongside its subvented agencies—the Monument and Relics Commission (MRC), National Tourist Board (NTB)—as well as Reggae Union, Spark Media, and Sierra H4, participated in the 1st Nimba Reggae Festival held in Conakry, Guinea. Organized by Canamacina Records.
The festival aimed to promote reggae music and foster cultural exchange within West Africa.
Sierra Leone’s participation highlighted the country’s rich cultural heritage, created valuable networking opportunities, promoted tourism, and provided insights to enhance planning for the Second Edition of the One Nation Reggae Festival in Freetown.
The delegation toured Sierra Leone’s Embassy in Conakry, China Mall, Artistical Village, the National Park, and other cultural sites.
This festival reinforced the power of reggae music, promote cultural preservation, peace, social cohesion, regional tourism, and sustainable development across the region.
