Kazan (UNA) – The International INNOverse50+ Programme for Young Leaders was launched today, in the city of Kazan in the Russian Republic of Tatarstan, as part of the proceedings of the Fifth Global Youth Summit in Kazan, with the participation of more than 60 young men and women representing 25 countries.
The programme, whose opening ceremony was attended by a number of officials and international figures, aims to strengthen the capacity of young people to devise practical solutions to shared global challenges.
The programme’s activities continue today at Kazan Federal University and the Centre of Unique Crafts. It takes the form of an intensive applied programme running over two days (27 and 28 August), focused on enabling young leaders to develop innovative solutions by working within multinational teams and exchanging expertise, experiences and ideas.
The programme includes brainstorming and teamwork sessions, the development of proposals for innovative projects, and the preparation of closing presentations, before concluding with a session in which the projects are presented before an international jury and a select group of experts.
Five outstanding participants are scheduled to receive licences to enrol in educational courses on Coursera, the global e-learning platform, enabling them to continue developing their skills and to benefit from specialised educational programmes.
